ABOUT
CAROL COOPER,
INTERIOR DESIGNER

Carol Cooper, ASID, NCIDQ is a Registered Interior Designer based in Sarasota, Florida, with more than 20 years of experience working directly with clients on custom homes, renovations, and furnishings projects.  Her work is rooted in a strong architectural foundation and a highly personal approach, with a focus on helping clients navigate complex decisions with clarity, care, and confidence.

Carol has spent the greater part of her career involved in renovations, remodels, and new construction projects from the earliest stages, often before a contractor or architect was selected. That hands-on experience has shaped her into a designer who understands not only how a space should look, but how it should function, flow, and come together in the real world.

Her design process combines creativity and precision.  Carol is an “analytical creative” and thinks analytically and strategically while designing innovatively.  She uses AutoCAD, SketchUp, 3D renderings, and hand sketches to communicate ideas clearly and help clients visualize the possibilities. She also prepares detailed project documentation and specification materials to support a well-executed installation.

Carol works alongside builders and architects, and is involved with trades throughout the entire process as a representative of her client. She is especially comfortable working on projects that require close coordination of all aspects of the design process, from floor plans and architectural details to specifications, furnishings, and final details.

While her style is calm and approachable, Carol is also direct, thorough, and decisive. She believes in collaboration, clear communication, respect, and creating a strong sense of alignment among everyone involved in the project. Her goal is always the same: to help clients feel supported while bringing their vision to life in a way that feels cohesive, refined, and enduring.
